Owl Employment’s prices are as follows…

Disciplinaries & Appeals

To take detailed instructions, produce a short brief and a draft letter setting out your position in response to a disciplinary or to raise a grievance or to raise an appeal is one fixed fee £200 + VAT per instruction (So, for example there would be a charge for the disciplinary process and then a second charge for any appeal!) Preliminary Hearing – Case Management (where orders / directions for the preparation of the final hearing are made) £250 + VAT Preliminary Hearings – for preliminary issues (Disability / Time Limits / Jurisdiction). Manchester/Liverpool – £400 per day All other locations – £600 per day Final Hearings Manchester/Liverpool – £400 per day All other locations – £600 per day Remedies Hearings – for preliminary issues (Disability / Time Limits / Jurisdiction). Employment Tribunal Claims

Preparation Costs 'No Win No Fee'

Preparation costs are the majority of costs in an Employment Tribunal, and the CFA (Conditional Fee Agreement) takes account of this point. The hourly rate used is £125.00 per hour.

Once the Claim is issued all the Necessary preparation work is carried out under a ‘No Win No Fee’ agreement. This work includes the following (1) responding to the ET 3 (2) dealing with the Case management orders (3) preparing the discovery and disclosure (4) agreeing the bundle (5) advising on the preparation of an impact statements for Disability Claims (6) advising on the preparation of witness evidence (7) responding to Respondent evidence (8) preparing chronologies and casts lists (9) preparing skeleton arguments (1) preparing for the final hearing. This is all covered by a ‘No Win No Fee’ agreement based upon a 33.3% split of any settlement or judgment recovered. (e.g. you the client would receive 67.7% of any monies paid by the Respondents under a settlement or Tribunal Judgment)

‘NO WIN NO FEE’ does not cover the cost of representation at hearing

Representation Costs

Our fees are considerably more cost-effective than others, whose fees can often be up to 3 or 4 times higher. Hearing fees, for Preliminary hearings, final hearings and / or remedies hearing are payable only if the hearing goes ahead and payable 7 days before the hearing.

  1. Preliminary Hearing – Case Management (where orders / directions for the preparation of the final hearing are made)  £250 + VAT

2.1  Manchester / Liverpool Tribunal – £400 + VAT per day

2.2  All other tribunals – £600 + VAT per day

 

  1. Final Hearing

 

3.1  Manchester / Liverpool Tribunal – £400 + VAT per day

3.2  All other tribunals – £600 + VAT per day

 

  1. Remedies hearings (if there is a separate remedies hearing – normally these are set at the same time as the final hearing)

 

4.1 Manchester / Liverpool Tribunal – £400 + VAT per day

4.2 All other Tribunals – £600 +VAT per day

ALL AGREEMENTS ARE BASED UPON A SIGNED ENGAGEMENT LETTER AND CONDITIONAL FEE AGREEMENT WHICH HIGHLIGHTS THE COSTS AND SERVICES PROVIDED AND IS PRESENTED AND AGREED PRIOR TO THE MATTER BEING UNDERTAKEN.
